Yanique Williams, Founder Yanique Williams is the founder of theCOR. She is a graduate of Queen’s University with a Political Science and Philosophy B.A.Hons. During her gap year the idea to create an accessible online hub with resources pertaining to the Canadian African and Caribbean Community (ACC) was fueled! The ACC in Canada is filled with an over abundance of talent, varying skill sets and resources. However, much of this information is not readily available, organized or adequately advertised to community members. Yanique believes that theCOR can change this reality and provide an essential resource that will help to bridge the information gap that currently exists.Email me at yanique@theCORsource.com |

Natalie Hanson, Operations Officer Growing up in Toronto, Natalie has come in contact with many different cultures and races but is strongly rooted to her Jamaican heritage. Her attendance the Jamaica Diaspora Conference in August 2009 in Kingston, Jamaica has opened her eyes to the Caribbean culture and made her prideful of her roots. Natalie is currently attending York University majoring in Law and Society after graduating from Seneca College with a Law Clerk diploma. To compliment her love of law, she has acquired a strong legal background working in various law firms on Bay Street. Being apart of the church has grounded her beliefs and values as a Christian which in turn led her to being a choir assistant for the children’s ministry. Natalie is very excited to be working with theCOR which she believes is a great resource to the African and Caribbean community.Email me at natalie@theCORsource.com |
